Reporter: After half a term of implementing the Resolution of the 21st District Party Congress, the Party Committee and people of Anh Son district have performed well in all areas. Could you tell us about the outstanding results?
Comrade Nguyen Huu Sang: The Anh Son District Party Committee has implemented the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term under favorable conditions: The district continues to receive attention, leadership, and support from the Central Government and the province; the Party Committee, government, and people are united and in agreement; a number of large investment projects on technical infrastructure as well as economic infrastructure have been promoted, completed, and put into use, creating new development momentum for the district. The policies and mechanisms to support and encourage economic development of the province and the district have been accumulated over many years and have proven effective.
The emulation movement to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the name Anh Son (1822 - 2022), the 60th anniversary of the district's separation (1963 - 2023) took place enthusiastically with 501 welcoming works that changed the appearance of the district, creating confidence and excitement for cadres, party members and people, contributing to the good implementation of the targets set out in the Resolution of the 21st District Party Congress.
After half a term of implementing the Resolution of the 21st District Party Congress, the Party Committee and people of Anh Son district have performed well in all areas, achieving many outstanding results. 5/25 targets of the term have been achieved and exceeded; the economy continues to develop; agriculture has had a good harvest every year, science and technology are widely applied, so the income value per unit area increases rapidly. The National Target Program on new rural construction has achieved important results. Trade and services have developed rapidly. A number of large investment projects have been attracted to the area; infrastructure continues to be invested. Cultural and sports activities have developed widely. The appearance from rural areas to towns has improved a lot. National defense and security are maintained, ensuring a peaceful life for the people.
Some economic indicators such as growth rate in 2021 reached 8.9%, in 2022 reached 8.62%, the first 6 months of 2023 is estimated to reach 6.1%; production value (SS 2010 price) in 2021 reached 6,809 billion VND, in 2022 reached 7,455 billion VND, the first 6 months of 2023 is estimated to reach 3,641.9 billion VND; average added value per capita in 2021 reached 39.24 million VND/year, in 2022 reached 43.7 million VND/year; annual budget revenue always exceeds the estimate assigned by the province and the District People's Council...
The work of building the Party and the political system has changed significantly, more democratically, comprehensively and specifically; the people's trust in the contingent of cadres, party members, party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations has continued to be raised. Up to now, 17/17 new projects and plans have been issued and are being implemented (including 5 projects on economy; 7 projects on culture - society; 1 plan on administrative reform; 2 projects on national defense - security; 2 projects on Party work). The district has simultaneously deployed 9 plans to implement the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress and 4 Action Programs to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. Organize extensive propaganda and implementation of the above projects, plans and programs to cadres, party members, union members, association members and people to grasp, agree, support and be determined to implement.
PV: To complete the targets of the Party Congress Resolution for the 2020 - 2025 term, what key solutions will Anh Son continue to implement in the coming time, comrade?
Comrade Nguyen Huu Sang: After half a term of implementing the Resolution of the 21st District Party Congress, the Party Committee and people of Anh Son district have achieved positive results and this is an important motivation for Anh Son to continue to be determined to complete the targets of the Resolution of the District Party Congress.
Through the mid-term review, it is expected that by 2025, 20/25 targets will have been achieved and exceeded the congress's targets, with 5 targets having difficulty achieving the set targets; namely: Total production value (SS 2020 price); average economic growth rate in the period 2021-2025; average added value per capita; number of communes meeting new rural standards and advanced new rural standards; targets for party membership admission. Therefore, in the coming time, the District Party Executive Committee determined: In addition to continuing to gain the attention of the province in all areas, continuing to focus on leadership and direction with the highest political determination to strive to complete and exceed the goals and targets set by the Congress Resolution, by regularly reviewing and proposing specific solutions and measures for implementation in each period.
The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the Standing Committee, and the District Party Executive Committee continue to strengthen work with communes, towns, agencies and units to inspect and urge units to focus on effectively implementing programs, projects and plans to implement the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels.
