Mui Dien (Mui Dai Lanh) is a familiar tourist destination when visitors come to Phu Yen. Mui Dien is a beautiful, pristine landscape in Hoa Tam commune, Dong Hoa district, Phu Yen. This is a check-in point to welcome the sunrise at the easternmost point on the mainland of Vietnam.
About 35 km from Tuy Hoa city center, to watch the sunrise at Mui Dien, visitors should leave from 4 am. Mui Dien and Ghenh Da Dia are two places that visitors to Phu Yen for the first time choose to check in. Mui Dien is connected to Mui Dai Lanh lighthouse. This is one of 45 national lighthouses with a light signal that can shine 27 nautical miles. Standing on the lighthouse with a height of over 110m above the windy sea level, visitors will have the opportunity to experience watching the sunrise here. On a clear day, the visibility is quite good. At Mui Dien, there is a plan to build a fairly spacious sightseeing and check-in spot. Many people take advantage of taking pictures before the hot summer sun. More than 10 years ago, the General Department of Tourism organized a famtrip to Mui Dien and identified this as an attractive tourist destination and recommended investing in infrastructure and building check-in points. After 10 years, the infrastructure to Mui Dien has been significantly upgraded as recommended, however, tourism services in this area are still in their infancy. Coming to Mui Dien, tourists can also visit the historical site of the legendary Ho Chi Minh trail on the sea. During the resistance war against the US, the journey to transport weapons to support the southern battlefield had 4 unnumbered ships docking at Vung Ro port. From Mui Dien, visitors can go to Mon beach, a beach with white sand, clear blue sea and pristine scenery.
