Tropical depression to strengthen into storm in next 24 hours

As of 9:00 a.m. this morning, September 18, the center of the tropical depression was at about 16.9 degrees North latitude; 113.4 degrees East longitude, about 213km from Vietnam's Hoang Sa archipelago. Strongest wind: Level 7, gusting to level 9. It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the tropical depression is likely to strengthen into a storm, with an intensity of level 8, gusting to level 10.
