Currently, the center of the tropical depression is at 15.3°N-114.8°E, nearly 360km East Southeast of Hoang Sa archipelago; Strongest wind level 6-7 (39-61km/h), gust level 9; Moving slowly in the West Northwest direction, speed about 5km/h.

At 1:00 p.m. on June 11, the tropical depression moved in a West-Northwest direction at a speed of 5-10 km/h; The center of the tropical depression was forecast to be at about 16.2°N - 113.1°E, right in the area east of Hoang Sa archipelago, and was forecast to strengthen into a storm. The intensity was level 8, gusting to level 10.

Dangerous area at sea (strong wind from level 6 or higher): From 13.0°N-19.0°N, from 111.0°E to 117.0°E. Disaster risk level: Level 3 - North East Sea and North central East Sea.

At 1:00 p.m. on June 12, the tropical depression moved in the West-Northwest direction at a speed of nearly 10km/h, continuing to strengthen; the storm center was forecast at about 17.3°N - 111.3°E, northwest of Hoang Sa archipelago; intensity level 9, gust level 11.

Extended danger zone: From 14.0°N to 20.0°N, from 109.5°E to 117.0°E.

Disaster risk level: Level 3 - North East Sea, North between East Sea and offshore waters of Quang Tri to Quang Ngai . Forecast in the next 48-72 hours, the tropical depression (or storm) is likely to change direction, move North-Northwest, speed of about 10km/h and continue to strengthen.

Sea impacts: Strong winds, large waves.

The North East Sea area (including the waters of Hoang Sa archipelago), the North of the Central East Sea area has thunderstorms and strong winds of level 6-7, then increasing to level 8, gusting to level 11, waves 2.0-4.0m high, rough seas; the South of the Central East Sea area, the South East Sea area (including the waters of Truong Sa archipelago) has strong southwest winds of level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8-9, waves 2.0-4.0m high, rough seas.

Ships operating in the above mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.
