iPhone users can breathe a sigh of relief as Apple has finally fixed the annoying video viewing interface bug in the Photos app.

Apple has completely redesigned the Photos app on iOS 18, replacing the older version that had been around for years. However, the white border surrounding videos and the requirement for an additional tap to view them in full screen have drawn significant negative feedback from users.

Immediately, Apple released the iOS 18.2 beta 3 update, which removes this white border, bringing the video viewing experience back to that of previous iOS versions. Users can now watch videos in full-screen mode instantly without any additional steps.

Additionally, when you touch the screen, the interface buttons will be hidden and then displayed as before iOS 18. This makes the user feel more familiar while manipulating and editing photos.

This is seen as a small "victory" for iPhone users, showing that Apple has listened to and incorporated feedback to improve the user experience.

Previously, Apple also made many adjustments to the Photos app based on feedback from users and developers. However, some major interface changes still caused much controversy.

Apple is expected to officially release the iOS 18.2 update this December, bringing many improvements and important bug fixes for iPhone users.
