By the morning of July 22, Au Viet Farm Cooperative had proactively dismantled the entire 14,000 m² of membrane roof to minimize damage and ensure safety before storm No. 3 (storm WIPHA) made landfall.
Mr. Bui Van Duy, Director of the cooperative, said that the unit had previously urgently harvested more than 5 tons of melons along with a large amount of bell peppers and cherry tomatoes. Currently, there is still more than 1 ton of melons that have not yet reached harvest time and are carefully covered.
Au Viet Farm is one of the large-scale melon growing cooperatives in the region.

Immediately after the storm, the cooperative will hire workers to reinstall the entire roof of the greenhouse. The cost of dismantling and reinstalling is estimated at about 50 million VND.
In 2024, storm No. 3 ( Yagi ) completely collapsed 27,000 m² of the cooperative's greenhouse, causing damage of nearly 10 billion VND. After this incident, the cooperative only had time to recover and rebuild 14,000 m² to maintain production.
