Australia has many large farms; agricultural products are very diverse. Learning more about the way your country cares for, harvests and preserves agricultural products, we find many interesting and worth learning things.
On the fields that stretch as far as the eye can see, Australian farmers use a lot of machinery such as helicopters, tractors, tillers, etc. They use helicopters to transport fertilizers or pesticides; in addition, airplanes are also a means for farmers to visit their farms.
Australia has the most rain in winter, very little rain in the remaining seasons, but the plants flower and bear fruit a lot. Because they flower in the dry season, most of the flower clusters produce fruit. There are so many fruits that people have to spray pesticides to make some fall off. Next, when the fruits are larger, people pick them off, leaving only a certain number of fruits as desired. A few months before harvest, people prune the small, damaged, and substandard fruits. This process helps the tree to have enough nutrients to grow the fruits that meet the requirements and maintain nutrition for the tree in the following seasons. For example, for apple trees, people strictly follow the above steps, so the apple yield is very stable. The same goes for grapes grown for winemaking. The vines have so many fruits that the dew will wet all the clusters and thus cause the fruit to rot. The farm owner has to hire workers to cut off the ripe fruit clusters that overlap each other so that the whole cluster does not rot.

Careful and scientific care in the fields makes Australian agricultural products valuable. We can see shoppers in supermarkets eating fruit directly without washing (although this is not an organic product) because the quality and safety of the product are placed very high with extremely strict standards. They also have organic products, but the quality is not much different from traditional products so it is not popular. To prevent pests, Australian farmers also spray pesticides, but they mainly use biological products. If it is a chemical product, the dosage must be according to regulations, and the quarantine period must be followed so that when harvested, it does not affect the health of consumers. This explains why when students work part-time, they can pick tomatoes, apples, pears and other fruits to eat right in the garden without washing.
It is said that Australian farmers (owners) are rich because Australia is a dry country, the initial investment is very large. They produce in a closed chain, for example, grapes for wine are also harvested and processed in factories, the longer the wine is kept, the better it tastes. We are not surprised when we go to wine and beer supermarkets and see that each bottle of wine costs several thousand dollars or even tens of thousands of dollars. It can be said that Australian apples are the best in the world. When we find out, we know that they harvest and store in warehouses, and harvest the next season but are selling the products of the previous season.
Their agricultural products have many advantages from harvesting to preservation, but some agricultural products such as avocados, bell peppers or vegetables are rarely preserved and are sold directly to the market, through supermarkets. This helps keep agricultural products fresh.
