On March 9, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Hong commune, together with cadres and people of La Thuong village, solemnly held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of ranking as a city-level historical and cultural relic for La Thuong communal house and pagoda.
The relic complex of La Thuong Communal House - Pagoda was built very early in the Le Trung Hung period. It worships gods and Buddhas who protect the spiritual and religious life of the La Thuong village community. During the war against French and American colonialists, it was a shelter to protect our soldiers and people. Through many historical changes and the impact of nature and war, the relic complex of La Thuong Communal House - Pagoda was destroyed. However, with the spirit of solidarity, unity, and respect for historical and cultural values, the local government and people have restored, renovated, and embellished the majestic and sturdy La Thuong Communal House and Pagoda, imbued with historical and cultural values, with ancient and solemn architectural items such as: Nghi Mon, Dai Bai, Hau Cung, Mieu Nghe; Temple gate, Tien Duong, Thuong Dien, To Nha, Nha Mau and many other valuable artifacts.
The communal house worships Thanh Hoang, General Ngo Tan, who defeated the invading Qin army at the Bach Hac River junction (Tam Giang) under the reign of An Duong Vuong. During the resistance war, the communal house was a meeting and training place for the local militia and guerrillas, a classroom for the people's children, and a meeting place for the people in the village and commune to discuss work. The pagoda is located right at the beginning of the village. The pagoda has a very diverse and rich system of statues. The system of statues is arranged in accordance with the layout of the Northern pagoda and is imbued with tradition, meeting the religious and belief needs of the local people.
On March 11, 2025, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Son commune, together with the cadres and people of Quy Mong village, also held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of ranking as a city-level historical and artistic relic for Quy Mong communal house.
Quy Mong communal house has existed for a long time, going through many ups and downs of history, until 1906 the communal house was rebuilt at its current location. The communal house faces the Southwest, including all the items: Dai Bai, Ta Huu Mac, and garden with a total area of 1,800 m2. Through many historical events, time, and natural weathering, the communal house has deteriorated, and the people have renovated it many times to preserve the traditional symbol of the village. Currently, the communal house still retains some original structures: the carving system, the altar set, the ceramic incense burner... The structural system of the Dai Bai building is reinforced with reinforced concrete to ensure that it does not deteriorate further and remains safe until today.
Quy Mong Communal House worships the tutelary god Duc Thanh Tan, and has been a place to serve the religious needs of local people and tourists for generations. Every year, people hold festivals to pray for peace for the people, for favorable weather, good crops, and for national peace and prosperity. With its historical, cultural and architectural values, on January 22, 2025, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Decision No. 442 recognizing Quy Mong Communal House, Phu Son Commune, as a city-level historical and cultural relic.
The ceremony to receive the Certificate of ranking as a historical and artistic relic of Quy Mong communal house and the At Ty spring festival in 2025 is a source of encouragement and motivation for the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Son commune in general and the people of Quy Mong village in particular. Thereby, we continue to maintain and preserve the good traditional cultural values of our homeland, unite to build and implement well the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies, contributing to building Phu Son commune to achieve the goals of political stability, economic - cultural - social development, maintaining political security and social order and safety in the locality.
On March 13, 2025, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Hoa commune, together with cadres and people of Cong Hoa village, held a ceremony to receive the City-level historical-artistic relic ranking certificate for Cong Hoa pagoda.
Cong Hoa Pagoda is an ancient pagoda built in the 10th century and has undergone many repairs and renovations to preserve and conserve its historical and cultural values.
This pagoda is located in a spacious, peaceful campus amidst the majestic nature of Ba Vi mountain range. Coming to Cong Hoa pagoda, visitors will be able to admire the ancient architecture of the buildings, Buddha statues and ancient stone steles. In addition, Cong Hoa pagoda is also a place to preserve many valuable cultural and historical heritages of society. Visitors to the pagoda can participate in traditional festivals and other spiritual activities to experience and learn about the spiritual culture of the nation.
Presenting the Certificate of Recognition, presenting flowers and speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Ba Vi District People's Committee Nguyen Duc Anh congratulated the Party Committee, the authorities of the communes in general and the people of the villages in particular when the local relics were recognized as historical, cultural and artistic relics at the City level.
To continue promoting the value of the relic, contributing to the propaganda andeducation of historical and cultural traditions for all classes of people and future generations, Vice Chairman of Ba Vi District People's Committee Nguyen Duc Anh requested Party committees at all levels, authorities and departments, unions, people of Phu Hong, Phu Son, Thai Hoa communes and people of villages to continue to implement well the legal documents of the State regulating the management and protection of relics as well as protecting the cultural values of the relics. Organize and manage traditional festivals in the locality in accordance with the regulations of the State, further promote the customs, practices and cultural identity of the locality.
