Bac Giang: 5 veterans will attend the 50th Anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day in Ho Chi Minh City

BAC GIANG - On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day on April 30 (1975-2025), the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Ho Chi Minh City solemnly organized a national-level celebration with many meaningful activities.

Delegates who are officers and soldiers from Bac Giang who directly participated in the fight to liberate the South visited the Ho Chi Minh Museum at the end of March this year.

On this occasion, to express gratitude to the cadres and soldiers who contributed to the great victory of Spring 1975, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee welcomed 310 delegates who directly participated in the battle.

Among them, Bac Giang province has 5 delegates: Nguyen Van Can (born in 1946), Trung Son commune; Do Trung Thuc (born in 1954), Nenh ward; Do Thanh Dong (born in 1954), Bich Dong ward (both in Viet Yen town); Nguyen Van Nhon (born in 1946), Canh Thuy ward; Le Van Luong (born in 1945), Da Mai ward (both in Bac Giang city). These are all people with outstanding contributions, actively participating in local movements; being exemplary, encouraging their children and grandchildren to actively work, produce, and build a cultural life.

From April 29 to May 1, delegates will participate in activities within the framework of the Anniversary such as: Special national art program (evening of April 29); parade (morning of April 30). At the same time, they will visit some historical sites and relics in Ho Chi Minh City.
