Bac Lieu: Inauguration and handover of 700 houses to poor and near-poor households with housing difficulties

Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Lam, leaders of Bac Lieu province and representatives of sponsors handed over houses to poor Khmer households in Hung Hoi commune, Vinh Loi district, Bac Lieu province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Lam, Deputy Minister of Public Security , said: With the spirit of urgency, determination and the efforts of the entire political system, 700 houses in Bac Lieu province have been completed, ensuring progress and quality. We believe that with new, stable and solid housing, people will feel secure in working and producing, continue to promote the spirit of national solidarity, trust in the leadership of the Party and State to continue to rise in life; actively participate in ensuring security, social order and safety and building a solid people's security posture at the grassroots level.

Over the past years, the Ministry of Public Security has taken the lead in mobilizing and coordinating with localities to build more than 28,600 houses, many schools and schools with a budget of more than 1,400 billion VND. Since the beginning of 2025, the Ministry of Public Security has mobilized all forces to donate daily wages with a total budget of 362 billion VND to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the two provinces of Cao Bang and Gia Lai, according to the Government's program. In addition, resources have been mobilized to continue supporting the elimination of more than 4,400 temporary and dilapidated houses, with a budget of over 280 billion VND for poor households, policy families, families with meritorious services to the revolution, and ethnic minorities nationwide.
