TPO - Xom Ro moss beach (in Phu Dong ward, Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province) is at its most beautiful with endless green "moss islands" stretching along the coast. After the Tien Phong Marathon, many athletes and tourists took the time to check-in and capture beautiful moments at this amazing moss beach.
The captivating beauty of green moss in Xom Ro
Xom Ro Phu Yen is known as a green moss paradise located in Phu Dong ward, Tuy Hoa city. According to local people, when the sea embankment of Xom Ro was constructed with concrete blocks and boulders poured into the sea, every winter, moss would cling to it and grow into a lush, eye-catching green patch.
This moss is green, has long stems and clings tightly to rocks, bobbing on the half-submerged, half-floating rocks.
Ms. Kim Bich from Hanoi said: "This is the third time I have participated in the Tien Phong Marathon. After finishing the race, I spent more time exploring the nature and scenery of Phu Yen. The moss field at Xom Ro is really beautiful, worth the effort of traveling from 5am."
The lush green moss carpet at dawn makes the beach scenery of Xom Ro more charming. After the Tien Phong Marathon 2024, many tourists brought their medals to take pictures with the moss carpet here as a souvenir.
The green moss field of Xom Ro has become a new attractive destination in the land of yellow flowers and green grass.
The lush green moss makes the rocks and concrete pillars softer but also slippery, so locals advise visitors to wear flat shoes and be careful with every step.
Dawn is the best time to see the sea and moss.
Visitors can both admire and take the most beautiful photos at dawn, making the scene even more romantic and poetic.
