Based on the plan and instructions from superiors on the tasks of cadre work, the Party Committee and the Military Command of Thanh Liem district have developed a plan for cadre work to ensure timeliness and strictness. In recent years, along with the planning of cadres, the Party Committee and the Military Command of the district have reviewed, selected and nominated 32 cadres to attend training and development at academies and schools to ensure quality and the right subjects.

Currently, 100% of the officers have been trained through schools, in the right positions; 25/25 officers have college and university degrees. Select officers to participate in professional training organized by the Provincial Military Command; train 100% of officers at the unit according to the prescribed composition, achieving good results.

The work of registering and managing reserve officers of the district is maintained regularly and systematically, closely following the requirements of the tasks and the actual situation of the locality. The arrangement and appointment of reserve officers to reserve mobilization units reached 88.5%. The rate of correct military professionalism reached 80.2%. Up to now, 100% of cadres and officers in the unit have been trained through academies and schools according to their positions; 100% of cadres and officers have been trained, coached, and improved their qualifications, capacity, and working style; 100% of cadres reaching their term of office are annually considered for promotion and salary increase.

The work of reviewing, proposing the transfer and appointment of cadres is carried out strictly, ensuring the correct procedures, principles and objectivity. There have been 45 cadres reviewed and proposed to the Provincial Military Command for decision on transfer and appointment, meeting the requirements of the task well. The structure of officers and reserve officers is increasingly balanced and synchronous, and the quality is improved. The work of cadre policy is given due attention. The Party Committee and Military Command of Kim Bang district regularly implement all regimes and policies of the Party, State and Army towards cadres and their families, paying attention to the life and material and spiritual life of cadres. The work of commenting, evaluating and classifying the quality of cadres is carried out strictly, democratically, objectively and in accordance with regulations.
