During the visit, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Le Thi Thuy sent congratulations to the leaders, officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command on the traditional day of the industry.

At the same time, thank the Command of Coast Guard Region 2 for having many programs to coordinate with the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee in propaganda work, mobilizing people in building and firmly protecting the sovereignty of seas and islands and having effective activities to accompany fishermen in island and coastal communes.

Specifically, the program "Coast Guard accompanies fishermen" was organized by two units in 6/6 coastal districts, towns, and cities and fishermen. Accordingly, 15 propaganda sessions were organized for more than 5,500 people; more than 4,400 law books, documents, and related materials were distributed; more than 6,500 leaflets - brochures, 50 radio stations were distributed to fishing boat owners and 60 first aid kits, 15,500 national flags; 1 projector set and 3 law bookcases were donated.

The mass mobilization work “Coast Guard with ethnic and religious people” was organized by the Provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Committee in coordination with the Coast Guard Region 2 Command in 9/18 districts, towns and cities with ethnic and religious people. Social security support work was regularly coordinated and implemented with a budget of billions of VND.

Thanks to the good coordination work, at the conference to review the coordination program to implement the mass mobilization work "Coast Guard accompanies fishermen" between the Standing Committee of the Coast Guard Party Committee and the standing committees of coastal provinces and cities (period 2019 - 2024) organized by the Vietnam Coast Guard Party Committee on August 23, the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and the Coast Guard Region 2 Command had many collectives and individuals awarded by the Ministry of National Defense, the General Department of Politics, and the Vietnam Coast Guard Command.

* On this occasion, the delegation also visited and congratulated officers and soldiers of the Political Department, Squadron 21 under the Coast Guard Region 2 Command and the management unit of ship 8002.
