Handing over breeding cows to Chau Duc ethnic minority households

On the morning of May 17, the Chau Duc District Red Cross Society coordinated with the People's Committee of Son Binh Commune to hand over a breeding cow to Mr. Ly Van Nam, a Chau Ro ethnic group in Son Thanh Hamlet.

The breeding cows are 12 months old, weigh 150-200kg, and are fully vaccinated. Before receiving the breeding cows, Mr. Nam's family was instructed by the commune's professional staff on breeding techniques, how to build barns, and how to treat some common diseases.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tai, Chairman of the District Red Cross Society, the handover of breeding cows not only creates conditions for newly escaped-poverty households to develop livestock farming but also contributes to promoting the local economy , improving people's lives, especially in ethnic minority areas.
