Handing over the House of Love to a poor household

BDK.VN - On the afternoon of May 6, 2025, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, Ben Tre branch, in coordination with the Women's Union of Ben Tre province, the Women's Union of Chau Thanh district and the Party Committee and People's Committee of Tien Thuy town organized the handover of a charity house to a household with housing difficulties.

The house was handed over to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong, Khanh Hoi Tay hamlet, Tien Thuy town, a household with housing difficulties. The house has an area of ^​​50m2 , the total construction cost is over 90 million VND, of which, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam , Ben Tre Branch supported 70 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family.

At the house handover ceremony, representatives of the sponsoring unit and participating agencies also presented meaningful gifts to Mr. Phong's family on the occasion of celebrating the new house.

The program of donating shelters of love is one of the practical activities that the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, Ben Tre Branch, has carried out over the past years. It is known that since the beginning of 2025, BIDV Ben Tre Branch has accompanied agencies and units in the province to respond to the program of joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses with an amount of 750 million VND.
