Carrying out social security work, joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, Lai Chau Provincial Police and Binh Lu Commune People's Committee called for and received from Viet Hung Ward Investment and Infrastructure Project Management Board 10 houses with a total value of 600 million VND (60 million VND/house) for poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households living in temporary and dilapidated houses in the commune.
Along with handing over the houses, the Viet Hung Ward Investment and Infrastructure Project Management Board presented gifts including fans, rice cookers, and warm blankets to 10 households; and 2 laptops to the People's Committee and the Police of Binh Lu Commune. Mr. Vu Trong Thu - Director of the Viet Hung Ward Investment and Infrastructure Project Management Board personally presented 5 million VND to the family of Ms. Tao Thi Chum in Pa Pe village (Binh Lu Commune).
