In Ha Nha commune, in early November, the atmosphere of sharing spread throughout the villages and hamlets when the Commune Farmers' Association coordinated with the Thanh Tam Volunteer Group to organize the giving of 490 gifts to members, farmers and people affected by floods, with a total value of 206 million VND.

Mr. Nguyen Vinh Dien, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Ha Nha Commune, said that this is one of the meaningful activities to encourage and support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and soon stabilize their lives. Each gift is the heart of those who are far from home, of kind hearts wishing to share with people in flood-affected areas to overcome difficulties.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia, a resident of Truong An village, shared: “After the flood, my house and belongings were deeply flooded, causing considerable damage. The timely support from the Farmers' Association and benefactors gave us more motivation to stabilize our lives.”

With the same spirit of sharing, in Hoa Xuan ward, the local government proactively visited and encouraged affected households and businesses.

Mr. Dang Quang Vinh, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee, said that the recent flood had caused great damage, many houses were deeply submerged, crops and production equipment were damaged. Ward leaders went to each affected area to listen to the concerns, share the difficulties and at the same time send words of encouragement to households and businesses to continue their efforts to overcome the consequences and restore production.

In the context of the end of the year, the time to prepare for the Lunar New Year, overcoming the consequences of floods and proactively restoring production is extremely important. Households and production and business establishments need to make efforts to maintain operations, prepare goods to serve the Tet market, contributing to maintaining the rhythm of life and the general development of the locality.

In Ba Na commune, the spirit of mutual love is also spread strongly. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune has just coordinated with Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company and Thanh Nien Newspaper to organize a gift giving event to support people to overcome the damage after the flood.

Ms. Le Huyen Tram, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Na Commune, said: “The commune has 12 villages with more than 600 households deeply flooded. With the spirit of mutual love and support, we have mobilized units and businesses to join hands to support the people. This time, a total of 300 gifts were given, each worth more than 1 million VND, including essential necessities and 700,000 VND in cash. This support demonstrates the sharing and responsibility of businesses and the community towards people in flooded areas. This is also a motivation for the government and people of Ba Na Commune to continue their efforts to restore production and stabilize their lives after natural disasters."
