Handing over the Ministry of Industry and Trade Inspectorate to the Government Inspectorate

On the morning of May 6, the Government Inspectorate worked with the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the handover and reception of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Inspectorate to the Government Inspectorate.

Deputy Inspector General of the Government Bui Ngoc Lam and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang co-chaired the meeting. The meeting was organized according to the plan issued with Decision No. 755/QD-TTg dated April 13, 2025 of the Prime Minister on the Project to arrange the inspection agency system to be streamlined, strong, efficient, effective and efficient.

Speaking at the working session, Deputy Inspector General of the Government Bui Ngoc Lam said that, closely following the leadership and direction of the Government, implementing the direction of the Inspector General of the Government, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Government Inspectorate, the Minister of Industry and Trade , the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the functional units of the Government Inspectorate and the Ministry of Industry and Trade have coordinated to effectively carry out the handover of functions and tasks of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to the Government Inspectorate in accordance with regulations.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoa - Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Government Inspectorate - said that, implementing the project of rearranging inspection agencies, the Government Inspectorate has issued an official dispatch to ministries and branches to proceed with the handover and reception of inspection units to the Government Inspectorate.

After the plan was issued, units of the Ministry of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Government Inspectorate to review officials and civil servants, ensuring conditions and criteria. Through the review, 25 officials of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Inspectorate were transferred to the Government Inspectorate, including 3 Deputy Chief Inspectors and 6 officials who were department-level leaders, along with 16 officials and civil servants.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang affirmed that the Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to coordinate and assign tasks to units, departments and offices to complete the assigned tasks, ensuring the correct progress and time as prescribed, to effectively complete the tasks.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang hopes that in the coming time, the Government Inspectorate will continue to pay attention to the team of inspectors of the Ministry of Industry and Trade transferred to the Government Inspectorate to ensure their rights and avoid concerns and disadvantages.

Regarding the handover and receipt of finance, assets and equipment, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to coordinate with the Government Inspectorate to review and complete before May 31.
