One of the notable recent activities was the Book Promotion and Introduction Contest with the theme "The Epic of the Nation," which received deep interest and enthusiastic participation from a large number of students from various student unions throughout the campus.

The competition was held amidst significant national events: the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025). Through live presentations before the judging panel, students not only introduced the content of the books but also shared touching stories and genuine emotions surrounding works about national history. Each presentation was a reflection of patriotism, national pride, and a desire to contribute. Notably, the appearance of Ms. Nguyen Kim Dieu, Deputy Director of the Provincial Library, as a guest judge, provided insightful comments and practical experience, helping students improve their presentation skills and enhance their ability to inspire through books.

Within the framework of the competition, many students expressed their excitement at being on stage for the first time to share their thoughts about history books. Le Nhuan Ngan, a third-year business administration student, confided: "This is not just a competition, but an opportunity for me to better understand the value of books and clearly feel national pride through each page. The stories about national heroes moved me and made me appreciate the peace I have even more. I feel prouder and understand the responsibility that young people of the new era need to fulfill: to study and train hard to contribute to serving the homeland and the country." This positive spread shows the miraculous power of books in nurturing the soul and fostering patriotism in the younger generation.

Beyond just the competition, the branch campus also implements many parallel activities to further spread reading culture among students. The BDU Ca Mau Reader Club is a prominent highlight with meaningful programs such as monthly book review sections and "I Tell You My Story," where students share their favorite books and personal feelings. The branch campus library also regularly organizes themed book exhibitions each month, creating a welcoming and attractive space that draws students in.

In addition, visits to and explorations of the provincial library, or thematic exchanges with book clubs at high schools in the province, help students gain new experiences, broaden their horizons, and build connections between generations of book lovers.

It is commendable that Binh Duong University always considers books as one of the five most important teachers in the learning and training journey of its students. Books not only open up a treasure trove of knowledge but also teach morality, help shape character, and nurture lasting life values. In a society where pressure and the pace of development sometimes cause people to stray from core values, maintaining a reading culture is a way for the younger generation to preserve their identity and enrich their spiritual lives. The branch campus hopes that, with these diverse and practical activities, the reading culture will continue to be nurtured and spread even more strongly among students.

The school is constantly expanding its connections with other organizations and units to create more meaningful platforms and forums, thereby not only enhancing knowledge but also contributing to the formation of a generation of confident, capable, and compassionate students.
