Central Propaganda Department presents gratitude house in Tan Tru district (Long An)

On the afternoon of January 4, a working delegation of the Central Propaganda Department led by Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Phan Xuan Thuy came to hand over 3 gratitude houses to families with housing difficulties in Tan Tru district, Long An province.

The delegation visited, presented gifts and handed over a house of gratitude to Ms. Dao Thi Nau (born in 1937), the wife of martyr Huynh Van Ngu, currently residing in Binh Tay hamlet, Binh Trinh Dong commune. In addition, the remaining 2 houses were given in turn in Tan Phuoc Tay commune to Ms. Tran Thi Lam (born in 1962), residing in hamlet 4, the daughter of martyr Tran Van San, and Mr. Nguyen Van Thich (born in 1965), residing in hamlet 6, the son of martyr Nguyen Van Cai.

It is known that these are houses donated by the Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia to policy families, with the support of Global Smart Steel Company Limited to support construction costs, each house costs 60 million VND.

Speaking at the house handover ceremony, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Phan Xuan Thuy emphasized that, with the spirit of "remembering the source of water when drinking", the Party and State always pay attention to the lives of families with preferential policies in difficult circumstances. Comrade Phan Xuan Thuy thanked Toan Cau Smart Steel Company Limited for accompanying the Central Propaganda Department, contributing to helping families with preferential policies and families with meritorious services to the revolution overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives. At the same time, he thanked local agencies, organizations and people for supporting working days and completing the project on schedule so that the families could celebrate the traditional New Year in a new, spacious house.

Comrade Phan Xuan Thuy said that in the past, Long An province has implemented good policies for families of war invalids and martyrs, and families with revolutionary contributions. In the coming time, he hopes that the implementation of the local "gratitude" work will continue to be promoted, helping families with preferential policies stabilize their lives and feel secure in developing their economy .

Tan Tru District Party Secretary Vo Tran Tuan Thanh said: Tan Tru District has 5 People's Armed Forces Heroes, 409 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, currently there are 10 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers still alive. The whole district has 1,989 martyrs, over 4,000 families with revolutionary contributions. Over the years, the work of "repaying gratitude", caring for and supporting Vietnamese Heroes has always been of interest to the Party Committee, government and people in the district.

Comrade Vo Tran Tuan Thanh thanked the leaders of the Central Propaganda Department and the Long An Provincial People's Committee for their attention and thanked the benefactors for supporting the construction of gratitude houses, thereby contributing to the locality's good work in caring for policy families, demonstrating the spirit of "remembering the source of water when drinking water" of the nation.
