Ensuring safety of key locations on the Bac Hung Hai irrigation system in Hai Duong

After inspecting the landslide point on the right bank of Dinh Dao canal through Thong Kenh commune (Gia Loc), Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Quan requested localities to closely coordinate with Bac Hung Hai Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited in inspecting and reviewing key locations that are prone to incidents on the system. These areas must be ready with response plans according to the "4 on-site" motto, not to be passive or surprised in any situation. In particular, it is necessary to prepare adequate materials and means to respond promptly if an incident occurs.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Quan requested Bac Hung Hai Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited to operate the system appropriately based on the actual situation, minimizing the impact on agricultural production in Hai Duong province. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development regularly updates the situation and information on key points, especially dangerous locations that may become complicated if the rain and floods continue, in order to promptly coordinate, develop and agree on a treatment plan.

The company has coordinated with local authorities to handle the situation from the first hour.
