On the afternoon of September 11, hundreds of people in Ngo Quyen commune (Thanh Mien) were present at the Cuu An river dike in Pham Tan village to reinforce the dike surface. Photo: Quang Son On the evening of September 11, some sections of the Bac Hung Hai canal in Gia Loc district were flooded with river water, such as 300 m in Bui Thuong village and Doi Hong village (Le Loi commune), 60 m in Dong Quang commune, 50 m in Thanh Lap village, Gia Luong commune... To overcome the situation, each commune mobilized about 100 people to reinforce the canal banks. By the night of September 11, these areas were all blocked, reinforced and ensured safety.
