Ensuring the best service for peak tourist season and DIFF 2025

On April 23, speaking at a meeting to deploy plans to serve the peak tourist season in 2025 and the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh requested relevant departments, branches, units, and localities to coordinate and make efforts to ensure good reception and service of guests during the peak tourist season.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee emphasized that Da Nang is the leading locality in the trend of searching for tourism on the occasion of April 30 and May 1, this is not only thanks to the natural conditions of the city but also the efforts of the political system and people in improving the image of the destination. Therefore, the Department of Tourism and related departments, branches, units and localities coordinate to ensure good reception and service for guests during this holiday as well as the peak tourist season.

Regarding DIFF 2025, the Chairman of the City People's Committee said that this is the city's brand event, requiring efforts and good coordination from the entire political system. Accordingly, the City Police Department is requested to mobilize all forces, continue to ensure political security, social order and safety; the Department of Industry and Trade directs to ensure food safety and hygiene, strictly control prices; the Department of Construction inspects and reviews flower beds and decorative trees in the area; the Department of Agriculture and Environment conducts a general cleaning; the City Border Guard coordinates to ensure rescue work; the City Military Command prepares a good plan for the fireworks competition.

At the meeting, the Department of Tourism informed that during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, the total capacity of 4-5 star and equivalent tourist accommodation establishments is estimated to reach 75-80%. Particularly in the summer tourist season from June to August, the number of guests served by accommodation establishments is expected to increase by over 10% compared to 2024. During the April 30 and May 1 holidays, there will be more than 15 attractive activities and events to serve people and tourists; putting into operation the "Sea Flower Street 2025".

DIFF 2025 takes place from May 31 to July 12. The Da Nang International Fireworks Team has basically completed the background music and is programming the fireworks.

With the grandstand expanded to 12,870 seats/night, an increase of nearly 2,700 seats/night compared to 2024, the grandstand will be constructed from April 23; stage art design, sound, and lighting will be constructed from May 13; the stage structure system has been constructed since April 10. Art programs, opening and closing ceremonies; live broadcast; issues related to consultants, participating teams; fireworks tickets; judges and special accompanying activities are being developed by the units.
