Previously, from April 17, Vietnam Airlines transferred flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi , Van Don to Terminal T3. After nearly a month of implementation, the airline has safely operated more than 1,400 flights and attentively served nearly 400,000 passengers at the new terminal. Operations here have received close and effective coordination from Vietnam Airports Corporation and related units, contributing to bringing convenient journeys and synchronized experiences to passengers.

At Terminal 3, Vietnam Airlines has arranged check-in areas from counters 56 to 109, along with 22 self-service check-in counters. At the same time, the airline has also increased the number of support staff at the terminal to ensure a smooth transition.

Vietnam Airlines recommends that passengers proactively use new convenient services at Terminal T3 such as self-check-in counters, self-bag drop counters, and biometric identification via the VNeID application developed by the Ministry of Public Security. Using these modern check-in procedures helps passengers save time, eliminate the need to present documents, limit contact, and enhance a convenient and safe flight experience.

Passengers are also advised to carefully check the terminal information printed on their tickets, learn about the T3 terminal map, and prioritize online check-in via the airline’s website and mobile app. Passengers should arrive at the correct terminal and be at the airport at least two hours before departure to ensure a smooth journey.

Vietnam Airlines representative assessed that moving all domestic operations to Terminal T3 not only improves the quality of the airline's services but also contributes to realizing the goal of developing Tan Son Nhat International Airport into a leading dynamic aviation center in Asia.

According to information from Tan Son Nhat Airport, domestic flights of VietJet, Pacific Airlines, Vasco, Vietravel Airlines, and Bamboo Airways continue to operate at terminal T1.
