Bao Loc: Focus on supporting people to contribute ideas to amend and supplement the Constitution through the VNeID application

Officers and soldiers of Loc Tien Ward Police (Bao Loc City) came to people's homes to guide and support them in giving opinions on amending and supplementing the 2013 Constitution via the VNeID application.

Accordingly, many working groups have directly gone to villages and residential groups to support people in installing, logging in and performing operations on the VNeID application, helping people proactively contribute opinions on the Draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.

As for the police agency, it has proactively advised the People's Committees of wards and communes to issue a plan to organize and implement the content of collecting public opinions via the VNeID application. At the same time, it has directed the local police to coordinate with the front, associations, unions, security and order protection forces, village committees, and residential groups to notify via Zalo network for people to come to the cultural house and guide them through the steps to give opinions on the Constitution. In particular, it has focused on supporting the elderly and those who are not yet proficient in information technology to guide them in accessing and giving opinions on VNeID.

This is the first time people have participated in giving opinions on amending the Constitution through the VNeID application on smartphones. Therefore, the Front, associations and unions in the wards and communes are also assigning tasks to cadres, members and union members to focus on implementing propaganda solutions and guiding people in the city to study and give opinions through the VNeID application.

According to the police of wards and communes in Bao Loc City, initially, the collection of public opinions on the VNeID application is being deployed simultaneously and has achieved certain results. Thereby, it shows the interest of the people in contributing opinions to the Draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution. However, through propaganda and support work, it shows that many cases of people forgetting their electronic identification account password or have changed their login device, changed their SIM card to register for an electronic identification account... leading to many difficulties and time-consuming implementation of the instructions.

Police forces proactively go to schools to support people in giving opinions on the Draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution during parent meetings.

Currently, the police of wards and communes in Bao Loc City are coordinating with functional agencies to focus on propaganda in many diverse and rich forms, promoting the work of collecting records and activating electronic identification accounts. From there, together with the Front, associations and organizations at the grassroots level, set up fixed or mobile support points to guide people to give opinions via the VNeID application; at the same time, combined with instructions on the implementation of other utilities on VNeID to ensure access and support from a wide range of people, participate in implementation and have the responsibility to participate in giving opinions on the Draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution to achieve the highest efficiency.
