Bao Loc organizes ceremony to celebrate Buddha's Birthday 2025

Buddhist dignitaries, Venerables, Venerables and representatives of local authorities performed the ritual to pray for national peace and prosperity, and for world peace and happiness.

Mr. Huynh Minh Chanh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bao Loc City, along with representatives of leaders of agencies and units in the city attended and congratulated the Buddha's Birthday. Many Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhists in Bao Loc City attended the Buddha's Birthday.

At the ceremony, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Bao Loc City solemnly read the Vesak Message 2025 of the United Nations Secretary General, the Buddha's Birthday Message of the Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha on the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday 2569th year 2025. At the same time, traditional rituals such as offering incense to Buddha, offering flowers to pray for national peace and prosperity, and for the world to always be peaceful and happy.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Huynh Minh Chanh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bao Loc City, emphasized: With the spirit of solidarity, Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhists in Bao Loc City have recently promoted the spirit of Vietnamese Buddhism, upholding morality, strictly observing precepts and obeying the law; at the same time, diligently practicing the teachings of love, compassion, joy, and equanimity to nourish the body and mind. That is the foundation for fulfilling social responsibility, eliminating evil, hatred, and indifference in society... Thereby, further promoting the tradition of protecting the country and the people, accompanying the homeland and the country.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bao Loc City Huynh Minh Chanh hopes that each Buddhist dignitary, venerable monks, nuns, and Buddhists will uphold their responsibilities and fulfill their duties in the spirit of "Discipline - Responsibility - Solidarity - Development", making continuous efforts to build a strong Buddhist Sangha, continuing to play an important role in the great national unity bloc, actively participating in the cause of building and protecting the homeland and the country to become more and more prosperous.

On this occasion, Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhists in Bao Loc City also visited and offered incense at Bao Loc City Martyrs Cemetery and the graves of heroic martyrs. Thereby, expressing their respect and deep gratitude for the great contributions of heroic martyrs who sacrificed their blood and bones in the resistance wars for national independence, national reunification, and the construction and protection of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
