The show will be performed regularly from June 12 to the end of August at the City Theater, contributing to enriching the summer cultural and artistic life of children and tourists in Hai Phong .
Swans is an art work that skillfully combines traditional puppetry with modern stage techniques, lighting, sound, and cinematic storytelling.
From European fairy tales, the story of Eliza overcoming many challenges to save her brothers who were turned into swans is vividly portrayed in puppet language, opening up an emotional journey about courage, family and love.
Not only is it an entertaining performance, the work also conveys a profoundeducational message, helping children develop their aesthetic and emotional thinking and learn to live a kind and resilient life. In particular, the theater calls on sponsors, businesses, and social organizations to join in organizing free performances for children in difficult circumstances, such as at Hoa Phuong Children's School and SOS Children's Village Hai Phong.
The play was staged by a talented team of artists: author Hoang May, director People's Artist Nguyen Tien Dung, puppet designers People's Artist La Viet Sinh and People's Artist Vuong Loi, stage artist People's Artist Dat Tang, music by musician Tuan Nghia, choreographer Master Phung Khai, lighting designer Nhu Son, media by Tien Thuan, performance conductor Duc Thanh, Hai Phuong and art direction by Master Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, Director of the Theater.
