In 2021, the number of information products produced by the Thai Nguyen Provincial Information Center and posted on the Provincial Electronic Information Portal increased by 85.2% compared to 2020 - an impressive number showing the determination to innovate in working methods.

Since then, the unit has continued to maintain a stable content growth rate of 15 - 20% per year, ensuring a continuous, diverse and in-depth flow of information towards establishing a specialized and specialized information database.

In particular, the number of visits to the Provincial Electronic Information Portal has grown steadily over the years: From 70,000 visits/day in 2020 to 180,000 visits/day in 2023. An important turning point took place in March 2025, when the Ministry of Science and Technology announced the results of the ranking of national electronic information portals: Thai Nguyen rose to the top with 21.4 million visits, far surpassing other localities, including 200,000 visits compared to Da Nang city (ranked second), more than 7 million visits compared to Hue city (ranked third) and over 10 million visits compared to the remaining provinces and cities.

This is not only a numerical achievement, but also a convincing recognition of a process of innovation in thinking, professionalization of policy communication methods, serving the people and businesses in a modern, open and transparent direction.

As the official voice of the province on the Internet, Thai Nguyen Electronic Information Portal has done a good job of disseminating major policies of the Party, State and locality to the people quickly, accurately and effectively. Over the past 2 years, this section has received over 200 citizen opinions, all of which have been forwarded to the authorities and responded to promptly and transparently, with no opinion left out. Thai Nguyen Provincial Electronic Information Portal is not only a place to provide information, but also directly impacts important indicators in evaluating the effectiveness of local public administration. Thanks to strong innovation and increased information transparency, in 2024, Thai Nguyen achieved: PAPI Index (Governance and Public Administration Performance), ranked 4th; PAR Index (Administrative Reform) ranked 5th; SIPAS Index (Satisfaction of People and Organizations) ranked 2nd nationwide.

These indicators are not only the result of reform efforts but also a measure of the provincial government's reputation among the people, in which the Electronic Information Portal plays the role of a "channel for publicizing and making transparent" information.

Multi-Platform Development - Reaching All Classes of People

In the spirit of keeping up with modern media trends, Thai Nguyen Provincial Information Center has expanded its scope of communication activities to social networking platforms.

The Thai Nguyen Electronic Information Portal Fanpage (established since September 2023) currently has nearly 268,000 followers, 152,000 likes, and has been given a blue tick by Meta, confirming its ownership. This Fanpage quickly rose to 3rd place nationwide in terms of followers and interactions - an impressive growth rate despite starting later than many other provinces and cities.

Two official TikTok channels were also set up, attracting hundreds of thousands of followers and likes, strongly spreading policies, information on social security, socio-economics, planning, investment, environment, etc.

By implementing multi-channel and multi-platform, Thai Nguyen Provincial Electronic Information Portal has expanded its reach, spreading official information to all age groups, especially young people - a force that accounts for a high proportion of the population and tends to use social networks as the main source of information.

The success of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Electronic Information Portal is a clear demonstration of the political determination, strategic vision and drastic actions of the provincial leaders in implementing the National Digital Transformation Program - where e-government and digital government are not just slogans but concrete actions, aiming to serve the people better every day.
