According to sources from TZ München , the 27-year-old is very excited about the idea of joining the Bavarian club, which he sees as the next step in his career. Osimhen has been linked with Bayern since 2023, when he was on the German club's shopping list to strengthen the striker position.
However, after Bayern signed Harry Kane, the German club lost interest in Osimhen. Bayern Munich's sporting director, Max Eberl, stated that the club currently has no need to recruit a new star striker, especially since Kane remains a key player.
Bayern are also preparing to negotiate a contract extension with the English star. Only if Kane leaves in the summer will Bayern consider looking for reinforcements in the center forward position.
