Abandoned newborn baby boy in Kim Thanh is temporarily given to a family to care for

The above information was announced by Mr. Pham Van Tuong, Chairman of Kim Xuyen Commune People's Committee on the morning of April 15.

Earlier, at around 8 p.m. on April 13, Ms. BTH’s family in Quynh Khe 2 village heard a newborn baby crying. The family discovered a newborn baby boy abandoned in front of their house. The baby was placed in a cardboard box, wearing a pink shirt, wrapped in a white towel, with a blanket, diaper, milk, and diapers next to him, with no other documents or assets.

Upon receiving the news, Kim Xuyen Commune Police coordinated to take the child to the Commune Health Station for examination and health check. The child was completely normal and in good health. On April 14, Kim Xuyen Commune temporarily handed the child over to Ms. BTH's family for care and upbringing.

In mid-February, a baby girl with her umbilical cord still attached was abandoned at a dike guard post in Tuan Viet commune, Kim Thanh district.
