The highlight of the program was the lantern procession, when the shimmering lanterns stretched across the hospital lobby, the children's eyes lit up with excitement, and the parents' bright smiles seemed to join in the joy.
Not only stopping at the entertainment activities, the loving moonlight of the festival was also brought to the departments - where the children were being treated. Mid-Autumn gifts including lanterns and warm teddy bears were handed to them, as words of encouragement and sharing to help the children be stronger to overcome their illness.
In particular, this year's program was accompanied by the Drama Club - Le Quy Don High School, the students prepared 20 gifts and handwritten letters full of love to send to the sick children. The small words but containing a big heart, brought joy and hope not only to the children but also to the whole family, spreading the spirit of kindness and connection between students, the community and the hospital.
Speaking at the program, Associate Professor - Doctor - Doctor Nguyen Hoang Dinh, Party Committee member, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital shared: "Mid-Autumn Festival is a special occasion for every child to receive love and care from family and society.
