Coming to Nhon Hai fishing village in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province on the 1st and 15th of the lunar month, visitors have the opportunity to explore the mysterious wall that appears on the water surface at low tide.
This mysterious wall is made of stone, about 3km long and 30m wide. The surface of the wall is flat. Normally, the wall is submerged deep under the clear blue sea, but from March to July of the lunar calendar every year, when the tide is low, we can clearly see this wall.

The wall chain is not continuous but has occasional breaks. According to local people, these may have been places for ships to pass through.

Researchers are still diligently searching through ancient documents, but have not found any records about this mysterious wall. To this day, is this magnificent structure a gift from nature or built by the hands and minds of ancient people? Everything is still shrouded in mystery.

It could be a breakwater. It could be the foundation of a defensive structure. It could be a natural flat rock range. It could be a natural modification that humans want to use for their own purposes… All are hypotheses and conjectures.

And so, the origin of this “wall” remains a mystery. Now, this famous place in the land of Nau is a destination for many tourists.

Just a short boat ride from the shore, visitors can set foot on the soft moss covering the wall. The surrounding water is not too deep, but clear, inviting visitors from far away to dive. Quy Nhon in particular and Binh Dinh in general still have many things waiting for visitors to discover.
