According to the World Economic Forum (WEF)'s "Future of Jobs 2025" report, by 2030, about 92 million jobs will be replaced by automation. However, according to the report, at the same time, 170 million new jobs will be created, mainly in the fields of data, artificial intelligence (AI), digital technology, digital content, etc.
Vietnam has committed to strongly promoting digital transformation associated with human resource development, employment and startups. The program "National Digital Transformation to 2025, with a vision to 2030" issued by the Prime Minister has set the goal of forming a digital economy, digital society and digital government, with people at the center. Comrade Nguyen Minh Triet spoke at the program. |
Speaking at the Program, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Student Association Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized: in the context of digital transformation, young people always face many challenges, the most obvious of which is fierce competition in the labor market, when technology and automation gradually replace humans.
"The global labor shift requires young people to constantly improve their capacity to adapt. If they do not proactively equip themselves with digital skills, young people will not only lose job opportunities and self-development, but also affect national competitiveness. However, digital transformation still brings opportunities for young people to break through, create new values, and contribute to building a strong and prosperous Vietnam," said Comrade Nguyen Minh Triet.
