At the working session with Ms. Sarah Kemp, Vice President of Government Affairs of Intel Corporation, Deputy Minister of Finance Cao Anh Tuan highly appreciated Intel's pioneering role in cooperating with the National Innovation Center (NIC) to implement the "AI for All" program - an initiative to popularize AI knowledge, train more than 10,000 high-quality human resources in the fields of semiconductors and AI, and the "AI for the public sector" program - an important strategy in building e-Government in Vietnam.

Deputy Minister Cao Anh Tuan hopes that Intel will participate in designing training programs, providing scholarships, academic materials and practical support for students, and also asked Intel to study preferential policies to build a research and development (R&D) center in Vietnam.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Sarah Kemp highly appreciated Vietnam's timely response to the US's reciprocal tax policies. She also acknowledged Vietnam's special preferential policies for high-tech investors since 2006, considering this an important foundation for Intel to continue its long-term development in Vietnam.
* The Ministry of Finance delegation worked with Ms. Molly Montgomery, Director of Public Policy in charge of the US market at Meta DC.
At the meeting, Ms. Molly Montgomery positively assessed the Vietnamese Government 's proactive response to US tariff issues, considering this an important factor helping companies like Meta feel secure in expanding their investment, including the increasingly important role of Vietnam in Meta's strategy, especially when many factories move to Vietnam.

Sharing with Meta representatives, Mr. Vo Xuan Hoai, Deputy Director of NIC affirmed that Vietnam is ready in terms of infrastructure, institutions and human resources to develop AI, and believes that Meta will develop the ecosystem in Vietnam.
In terms of tariffs, Mr. Dang Ngoc Minh, Deputy Director of the Tax Department, suggested that Meta soon provide information related to the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement between Vietnam and Ireland, and at the same time study and determine commercial presence in Vietnam to enhance high-tech investment cooperation, especially in AI, open data and virtual reality.
Meanwhile, Ms. Dao Thanh Huong, Deputy Director of the Foreign Investment Agency, said that Vietnam prioritizes attracting FDI in the fields of digital technology and innovation and hopes that Meta will soon establish a commercial presence to ensure long-term commitment.
Meta's representative expressed his desire to strengthen cooperation between the Vietnamese Government and enterprises in the coming time, including researching and proposing specific solutions to promote more effective cooperation.
