Building a strong team organization and strong movement

Focusing on building a strong Team in terms of organization, the Team Councils at all levels pay attention to training and improving the quality of Team leaders and Team commanders. The Team Councils at all levels have directed the Teams to effectively implement the campaign to build "3 good Teams: good management, good activities, good movements", the "Reserve Team members" program, the "Self-management Star" model; strengthen the coordination between the Team General Leaders and the homeroom teachers in advising and proposing to the Party Committees and Boards of Directors of schools in directing and organizing Team activities inside and outside the school.

Training courses, competitions, and parties such as “Good Star in charge”, “Pretty Bamboo Shoots”, “Good Children”… are regularly held in the Teams, through activities that contribute to improving the professional skills and operational skills of the Team cadres.

Every year, the Provincial Youth Union Council organizes training for teachers who are Team Leaders on professional tasks such as methods, ways of building, establishing, and operating models of clubs, groups, and teams for children in schools; skills in designing and organizing activities in the Youth Union, and physical games for children; skills in cheerleading, attracting, and gathering children; instructions on practical requirements for team members and team leaders, etc.

The work of developing team members and recruiting new team members is maintained in accordance with the process and regulations. In particular, many teams have innovated the work of recruiting team members by organizing team member recruitment ceremonies at local historical and revolutionary sites. In 2024, the whole province recruited more than 38,000 new team members, currently the whole province has more than 120,000 team members, operating in 295 teams.

In order to educate history, foster ideals and revolutionary traditions for team members, the Teams have innovated propaganda content in many forms such as organizing flag-raising activities, forums, competitions to learn about the traditions of the Party, Uncle Ho, homeland, country, Youth Union, Association, Team; organizing through activities to meet historical witnesses, journeys to red addresses...

Focusing on strengthening the Team organization and developing team members, the Team Councils at all levels have built a strong Team organization, creating a spreading force for the Team work and the children's movement. Movements and campaigns such as Vinh Phuc Children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings, Thousand good deeds, Small plans, For beloved juniors... have been widely and creatively deployed with many forms of activities suitable for each Team base.

In particular, the movement "Vinh Phuc children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings" is a continuous movement, covering all programs and activities of the Team with many diverse and rich activities such as the flag-raising model "Every week a beautiful story, a shining example, a good book"; "Reading and following the Team Newspaper", "Young people do small things", taking on and building young projects and tasks; the festival "Happy, healthy children" (in Primary School Teams), "Step up to the Youth Union" (in Secondary School Teams); the campaign "Proud of a strip of land and rivers"... Activities are integrated with historical, cultural and ethical factors that have contributed to fostering ideals of life, revolutionary ideals, and patriotism for team members and children.

The Council of the Young Pioneers from the district to the grassroots level has done a good job of advising the Executive Committee of the Youth Union at the same level to carry out the task of representing the voices and aspirations of children; implementing models to promote children's right to participate in children's issues. In 2024, more than 2,600 opinions of children were received through channels, 63 opinions of children were sent to the authorities for consideration and resolution.

The Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province are interested in innovating and diversifying the forms of organizing propaganda activities, life skills education, legal education, gender awareness education, reproductive health, prevention of social evils, injuries, drowning accidents for children, etc. The content of the activities is designed to be linked to the monthly themes and topics in the Youth Union's work program and the school year's children's movement of the Youth Union; the school year plan, after-school educational activities and extracurricular activities of the school. Thereby, equipping and improving life skills, creating a healthy entertainment environment for children to demonstrate their talents and abilities.

With many rich and practical programs and activities, the work of the Young Pioneers and the Vinh Phuc Children's Movement not only attracts a large number of children to participate, contributing to the comprehensive education of children in terms of morality, intelligence, physical fitness and aesthetics, but also leaves positive marks, contributing to the effective implementation of the work of protecting, caring for and educating children.
