Tri Ton District Party Secretary works with 6 communes and towns

To proactively handle some contents in the process of implementing the arrangement of commune-level administrative units, the Standing Committee of Tri Ton District Party Committee has just established 4 working groups and assigned members of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee to guide and prepare documents for the Party Congress of 5 new communes after the merger, term 2025 - 2030.

Accordingly, on May 27, Tri Ton District Party Secretary Lam Thanh Si led working delegation No. 1 to work with the Party Committees of 6 communes and towns including Tri Ton Town, Co To, Chau Lang Commune, Nui To, Ta Danh and Tan Tuyen to guide the preparation of documents for the Party Congress of 2 new communes, Tri Ton and Co To. Chairman of Tri Ton District People's Committee Nguyen Van Be Tam also attended.

Pursuant to Directive 45-CT/TW dated April 14, 2025 of the Secretariat, replacing Directive 35-CT/TW on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress, it is stipulated that the Party Congresses of new communes after the merger will only carry out two contents: summarizing the implementation of the congress resolutions for the 2020-2025 term on the basis of the contents of the congress resolutions of the Party Committees before the merger; determining the directions, goals, tasks, and solutions for the 2025-2030 term and discussing and contributing opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the draft documents of the congresses at the direct higher level.

There are two remaining contents related to personnel work, including: Election of the Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term and election of the delegation of delegates to attend the Party Congress at a higher level, which will not be implemented. The Standing Committee of the immediate higher level Party Committee will appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary; Inspection Committee, Chairman, Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee and allocate the number and appoint delegates to attend the Party Congress at a higher level.

Tri Ton District Party Secretary Lam Thanh Si assigned the Standing Committee of the Tri Ton Town Party Committee to preside over and coordinate with the Standing Committees of the Nui To and Chau Lang Commune Party Committees to draft the documents of the Tri Ton Commune Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030; assigned the Standing Committee of the Co To Town Party Committee to preside over and coordinate with the Standing Committees of the Ta Danh and Tan Tuyen Commune Party Committees to draft the documents of the Co To Commune Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The drafting of documents must be based on the draft documents of the Party Committees of the communes prepared before the merger and the draft documents of the Party Committee of Tri Ton district and the Party Committee of An Giang province for the 2025-2030 term; setting out tasks, solutions, and breakthroughs for the new term.
