It is known that Mr. Cuong's family is a poor household in the commune, their life mainly depends on agricultural and forestry production. Faced with the family's difficulties, in addition to completing the procedures and documents to request the district to support part of the cost, Phuc Ninh commune also mobilized the villagers to contribute labor and money to help Mr. Cuong's family build a new house. Currently, the solid cement stilt house has been basically completed with a total value of over 250 million VND.
Encouraging and congratulating Mr. Cuong's family on their new house, the Secretary of Yen Binh District Party Committee hopes that the family will continue to try and make efforts to overcome difficulties, focus on economic development, hunger eradication, poverty reduction, and improving living standards.
To promptly encourage Mr. Cuong's family, the Secretary of the An Hoang Linh District Party Committee gave Mr. Cuong's family 3 million VND in cash, supported an orphan in the village with 1 million VND and gave the village a grass cutter.
Also in the morning of the same day, the Secretary of Yen Binh District Party Committee participated in planting shade trees and cleaning the environment in the cultural house area of Village 2, Lang Na, Phuc Ninh Commune.
Village 2 of Lang Na currently has 127 households with 607 people, of which over 97% are Tay ethnic people, whose lives mainly depend on agricultural and forestry production and fishing and shrimping on Thac Ba Lake. In recent years, with the investment of the state in building rural infrastructure and policies to support production and social security, the diligence of the people has gradually pushed back poverty and promoted economic development.
Currently, the average income per capita of the village reaches 47 million VND/person/year, the rate of households with a good standard of living or higher accounts for 84%; the rate of poor and near-poor households has decreased to below 10%. The economy is stable, people's lives are improved, every year the number of households meeting the cultural family standards accounts for 87%.
