Cao Bang Provincial Party Secretary encourages workers to work through Tet

On January 26, the working delegation led by the new Cao Bang Provincial Party Secretary Quan Minh Cuong visited the construction site of the Dong Dang (Lang Son) - Tra Linh (Cao Bang) Expressway Project.

The delegation visited, gave gifts, encouraged and inspected the construction site of 2 construction fronts at km66 + 500, Don Lap village, Le Lai commune and tunnel No. 2 - km72, Thuy Hung commune, Thach An district.

With 99% of the land in the province, contractors actively and urgently constructed with the spirit of "overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain", "3 shifts, 4 crews", mobilizing more than 1,000 personnel and over 370 machines and equipment to deploy 26 construction points in all categories of roads, bridges, tunnels and culverts.

Currently, Dong Khe tunnel has opened both tunnels, 3 months ahead of schedule, the contractor is pouring concrete for the tunnel lining, creating the roadbed in the tunnel and installing equipment. The total output of the packages to date has reached about 1,480 billion VND, accounting for 14.88% of the contract value. Disbursement has reached over 1,775 billion VND of the allocated budget, reaching 91.38% of the 2024 capital plan.

Provincial Party Secretary Quan Minh Cuong acknowledged the efforts of the investor and contractor, encouraged and shared about the working and living conditions of workers and engineers at the construction site.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested contractors to seriously implement the proposed construction plan, allocate human resources and machinery reasonably, and ensure a stable and effective working pace. Caring for workers' lives is the top priority, and it is necessary to ensure adequate salary and bonus regimes for cadres, engineers, and workers, especially during holidays.

I hope that the units will organize meaningful, joyful and warm Tet celebrations at the construction site. Although celebrating Tet far from home, the collective spirit and consensus will create a warm Tet, without interrupting work, so that the project can be implemented on schedule, contributing to bringing a new look to the province.
