Tay Ninh strictly handles students violating traffic laws from November 15

(NLDO) - From November 15, the Traffic Police of Tay Ninh Province will enter a phase of strictly handling cases of students violating traffic laws to ensure a safe school year.

On November 11, information from the Traffic Police Department of Tay Ninh Province Police said that in order to ensure traffic safety and thoroughly prevent the situation of unqualified students driving motorbikes and electric motorbikes, the Traffic Police force of Tay Ninh Province has been implementing a series of measures to review, sign commitments and resolutely handle violations.

According to the leader of the Traffic Police Department of Tay Ninh Province, the unit has organized 29 working groups with the mobilization of 76 traffic police officers and soldiers and 60 commune and ward police officers to review 111 secondary and high schools across the province.

Initial screening results recorded 1,172 motorbikes parked at 96 parking spots in and around the school.

The working groups have asked the above parking lots to sign a commitment not to accept parking for students who are not qualified to drive.

At the same time, the work of mobilizing parents was promoted, with 16,724 parents of 111 schools signing a commitment not to give motorbikes and electric motorbikes to their children who were not qualified to drive the vehicles.

Also according to the Traffic Police Department, from November 15, the Provincial Traffic Police will enter a phase of strictly handling cases of student violations. The force will go to each school to check parking lots and increase patrols during school hours on roads near schools to promptly prevent and resolutely handle violations, ensuring a safe school year.
