On January 18, Comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, received and worked with Mr. Kenta Kawanabe, General Director of Sumitomo Corporation and Mr. Hiroyoshi Masuoka, former General Director of Sumitomo Corporation (Japan). Also attending were Comrade Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the My Hao Town Party Committee.

At the meeting, the leaders of Sumitomo Corporation thanked the provincial leaders and the provincial authorities for their attention, direction and creation of favorable conditions for Thang Long II Industrial Park to come into operation in the past time and continue to be invested and expanded. The leaders of Sumitomo Corporation reported to the Provincial Party Secretary some of the corporation's operating results in the past time; plans, orientations and implementation goals in the coming time. At the same time, they hoped that Hung Yen province and the Provincial Party Secretary personally would continue to pay attention and create favorable conditions for Thang Long II Industrial Park to develop more and more strongly.
At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia acknowledged the contributions of Thang Long II Industrial Park Company Limited to the development of the province in recent times. At the same time, he affirmed that Hung Yen province always pays attention and creates favorable conditions according to the law for Thang Long II Industrial Park Company Limited and Japanese enterprises to invest and operate in the area. In the coming time, the province will continue to strengthen coordination and promote investment attraction in Thang Long II Industrial Park.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia suggested: Sumitomo Corporation should focus on completing investment and synchronous construction of technical infrastructure of Thang Long II Industrial Park, phase 3, in 2024. With the wishes and proposals of Sumitomo Corporation, the provincial leaders will direct relevant departments and branches to coordinate to promptly resolve difficulties and problems.
