Below are the changes in benchmark scores of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam National University in the past 3 years:

This year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam National University, will enroll 5,550 students. Of these, 1-5% of the quota is for direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .
The rest, the school recruits by a combination method, with 5 groups: candidates with or without the Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment test scores; foreign high school graduates; with international standardized test certificates (SAT, ACT); candidates of international transfer programs or bachelor's joint programs with the University of Technology Sydney.
According to Associate Professor Dr. Bui Hoai Thang, Head of the school's training department, in the competition with top schools, the University of Technology has not changed much, because it reserves 95-99% of its quota for the comprehensive admission method, with a minimum score of 50 points (on a scale of 100).
However, this year, due to the need to adjust the admission score calculation formula, according to Mr. Thang, the school's benchmark score may decrease slightly, for training majors with average entrance scores in previous years.
With hot majors attracting many candidates such as Computer Science ; Computer Engineering; Control Engineering and Automation; Logistics and Supply Chain Management;.... this expert predicts that the benchmark score will likely remain stable and not decrease much.
"Whether converted to a 90 or 100 point scale, the number of good candidates is still concentrated in these majors, and the admission scores are all very high. Therefore, the standard score cannot be reduced like other majors," Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Hoai Thang explained.
