Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Thuong Ward, Do Dinh Son, emphasized that this is a practical activity to concretize the policies of the Central Government and the City in the process of comprehensive digital transformation. The "Digital Literacy Movement" has profound significance, aiming to spread the spirit of lifelong learning, creating conditions for all strata of the people - from students, workers, farmers to officials, civil servants, and laborers - to access and apply digital technology in their lives, contributing to building a learning society and developing a digital knowledge base not only for Phu Thuong Ward, Hanoi but also nationwide.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the ward will simultaneously implement the "45-day campaign to support digital transformation," with many specific and practical activities such as: training on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) for community digital transformation teams, officials, and civil servants; deploying information technology response teams and mobile digital transformation teams to promptly support people in accessing and using online public services.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Do Dinh Son Ward also noted that, in order for the "Digital Literacy Movement" to truly go in-depth and achieve sustainable effectiveness, it is necessary to strengthen propaganda work and raise people's awareness of the role and benefits of digital transformation. From there, each citizen will proactively learn and practice digital skills, contributing to building a civilized and modern digital community. The movement needs to be maintained regularly, continuously, and expanded throughout the ward.
In parallel, the ward will organize online classes and courses to popularize digital knowledge on a user-friendly and accessible platform, suitable for diverse audiences. At the same time, it will mobilize the cooperation of state agencies, businesses, organizations, and individuals in supporting the movement with necessary facilities, equipment, learning materials, and resources.

The People's Committee of Phu Thuong Ward launches the Information Technology Emergency Response Team.
In particular, digital skills training programs will prioritize vulnerable groups such as the elderly, people with disabilities, and self-employed workers, ensuring that no one is left behind in the digital transformation journey.
At the launching ceremony, the People's Committee of Phu Thuong Ward officially introduced the Information Technology Response Team, tasked with assisting residents facing difficulties in accessing online public services, especially the elderly, people with disabilities, and poor and near-poor households. These teams will operate at "Mobile Digital Literacy Centers" located throughout the ward.

Also within the framework of the program, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - lecturer at the University of Paris - shared and guided on the skills of using AI tools to improve work and study efficiency.
Immediately after the ceremony, the IT Response Team went to Mr. Bui Van Chung's house (alley 343 An Duong Vuong) to assist with the administrative procedure of "Determining the level of disability" - marking the beginning of a series of dedicated and close support activities for the digital transformation of the ward's residents.
