Abandoned villa in the middle of the forest becomes a tourist attraction

VnExpressVnExpress24/03/2024

The Red Villa or "Red House" is an abandoned building that has existed for nearly a century, built by the French in Phia Den hamlet, Thanh Cong commune, Nguyen Binh district. This location is part of the journey " Discovering Phia Oac - the mountain of changes" in Cao Bang Global Geopark. The climate here is cool all year round, 18 - 25 degrees Celsius.

The villa is located on a hillside, moss and vines clinging to the tiled roof. The walls were originally yellow, but over the years they have gradually turned red, associated with local oral stories that make this place gloomy, arousing the curiosity of tourists who come to explore the newly developed tourist area of Cao Bang province.
