Honoring 80 typical women of the Capital who follow Uncle Ho's teachings

To practically celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), on May 13, the Hanoi Women's Union held a conference to commend typical women in the capital following Uncle Ho's teachings, period 2016-2025; summarize Plan No. 210/KH-UBND of the Hanoi People's Committee on propaganda and mobilization of women to implement the Code of Conduct in public places in the city, period 2022-2025.

Before entering the conference, the delegation of women from the capital visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum; held a ceremony to report achievements and offer incense at House H67.

Speaking at the conference, Chairwoman of the Hanoi Women's Union Le Kim Anh said that the 80 typical examples represent 129 collectives and individuals who were commended and rewarded by the Hanoi Women's Union in 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TU of the Politburo , 3 years of implementing Plan No. 210/KH-UBND of the Hanoi People's Committee, with many innovations and creativity in organizing and implementing the study and following of Uncle Ho; propagating and mobilizing the implementation of the code of conduct in public places; having many initiatives in the work of the Union.

According to the report, implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TU of the Politburo, over the past 10 years, the Women's Union at all levels in the city has deployed many creative and effective models and methods, contributing to spreading ethical values ​​and healthy lifestyles in the community. The Union at all levels has saved more than 50 billion VND; allocated 20.075 billion VND; 212,699 kg of rice, 6,210 savings books, donated 1,062 bicycles, helped 73,989 women and children in difficult circumstances, supported the construction and repair of 1,377 charity houses, worth more than 55 billion VND...

Along with that, after nearly 4 years of implementing Plan 210/KH-UBND, the Women's Union at all levels has had 349 models of mobilizing women to behave well in implementing the Code of Conduct in public places, with 488 projects and tasks implemented, with a total value of more than 8 billion VND.

To promote the achievements, Ms. Le Kim Anh suggested that the Women's Union at all levels of the city and each woman in the capital need to continue to make efforts to improve their morality and health, intelligence and style, study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; strive to compete, unite and help each other to rise up, proactively approach and apply science and technology, actively respond to the "Digital Literacy for All" movement, be creative, courageous, confident, and steady in the new era...
