SEOUL, South Korea – Big Pictures, a pioneer in virtual reality (VR)-based industrial training technology, is expanding its global operations with the introduction of its advanced Virtual Reality Construction Machinery Simulator (VRCMS) system in Vietnam.
This strategic move aims to meet Vietnam's need for vocational education innovation, while improving machine operation capacity through an immersive training system using VR technology.

Transforming technical training with VRCMS technology
Big Pictures' VRCMS platform provides interactive, hands-on training for 32 types of construction equipment, including excavators, cranes, forklifts, bulldozers, and tractors.
The system is equipped with a virtual reality headset that integrates realistic physical simulation and precise motion tracking, allowing learners to experience the feeling of operating as if in a real environment.
This solution replaces traditional training with real machines, helps reduce safety risks, cuts operating costs, and allows multiple learners to practice at the same time, while providing detailed analysis reports on student performance.
Mr. JongMin Kim, CEO of Big Pictures, said:
"The infrastructure boom in Southeast Asia requires highly skilled human resources.
Our simulators help training facilities practice operating skills more safely, efficiently, and flexibly — while significantly reducing the need for real machines and large training areas."
Vietnam market penetration strategy
Big Pictures officially enters the vocational education sector in Vietnam with advanced VRCMS technology.
The move is in line with forecasts that Vietnam will need 4,881 new construction equipment by 2030, along with an urgent need to train a skilled operating team.
Not only stopping at providing products, Big Pictures aims to modernize Vietnam's vocational training system through a comprehensive cooperation program.
The company is actively working with government agencies, technical colleges and vocational training centers to integrate VRCMS into the national training curriculum.
This partnership will help training institutions implement immersive, performance-based training programs that contribute to improving student safety, effectiveness and workplace readiness.

Proven innovation and regional impact
Since launching the VR platform POKO in 2017 and commercializing virtual reality simulators for the construction industry in 2019, Big Pictures has played a key role in developing the Korean National Competency Standards (NCS) for simulation training.
Big Pictures' extensive multi-simulator system, integrated with LeapMotion technology, allows schools to increase training capacity while ensuring teaching quality.
In Southeast Asia, Big Pictures has achieved success through cooperation with OSHC and TESDA in the Philippines, implementing a VR training model according to Korean standards, helping to improve safety and vocational skills for millions of Filipino export workers, affirming Big Pictures' position as a regional leader in the field of digital vocational education.
