Binh Duong aims to develop more green industrial parks

That was shared by Mr. Nguyen Truong Thi - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Binh Duong province - at the "Conference on Energy Automation, the driving force for smart production" on June 20.

According to Mr. Thi, with renewable energy sources increasingly developing, Binh Duong province has been promoting and encouraging businesses to invest in clean energy technologies, minimizing environmental impacts and ensuring sustainable development.

Sharing the green transformation situation in industrial parks in Binh Duong, Mr. Thi said that Binh Duong is developing more green industrial parks with standards on environmental protection and efficient use of resources and energy.

A typical example is Binh Duong smart city - top 1 ICF in 2023 ( world smart community), not only a bright spot in technology and smart management, but also a model for sustainable development.

Meanwhile, Ms. Huynh Dinh Thai Linh - CEO of World Trade Center Binh Duong New City (WTC Binh Duong), a business in the field of industrial park real estate - said that the unit is implementing many projects to convert traditional industrial park models to green, smart industrial parks.

According to Ms. Linh, this is the future direction of the Vietnamese Government and businesses cannot stay out of the "game".

Currently, WTC has combined and received consultation from many units not only in Binh Duong, but also many industrial parks across the country.

In order to support businesses in the process of promoting automation towards smart production, green and sustainable development, a representative of the Department of Industry and Trade said that the province is implementing many diverse policies to create favorable conditions for capital, infrastructure, human resource training and trade connections.

In particular, from September 25 to 27, 2024, at the WTC Expo International Exhibition Center, Binh Duong, the World Automation Exhibition in Vietnam and the Electricity and Energy Exhibition 2024 will take place.

According to the organizers, with a scale of over ^10,000m2 , the exhibition is expected to attract more than 150 businesses with more than 200 booths. The exhibition will bring together leading businesses and experts in the fields of automation, electricity and energy from all over the world, promising to bring many opportunities for cooperation and development for Binh Duong industry in particular and Vietnam in general.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, there will be trade connection activities, seminars on development trends, application of new and advanced technologies and optimal solutions in the fields of automation, electricity and energy, learning about the most advanced technologies and well-invested production lines right at factories in industrial parks in Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces.
