Binh Duong: Body of missing victim suspected of being swept away by rainwater found

On the morning of June 15, Mr. Doan Hong Tuoi, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Uyen City, Binh Duong Province, said that he had just found the body of Ms. NTNH (born in 1971, from Dong Nai), who was swept away by the flood on June 14.

Rescue workers search for victims

The victim's body was located more than 2km from the scene in a field in Ward 7 (Uyen Hung Ward).

In the immediate future, relevant agencies have mobilized initial support for the victim's family of 20 million VND and continue to complete the application for additional support of 20 million VND from the budget.

According to the leader of Tan Uyen City People's Committee, the location where Ms. NH had the accident had a fence, but due to heavy rain, a strong current washed away the fence. The city is implementing a solution to ensure the safety of the people.

At 8:00 a.m. on June 15, rescuers found the victim.

As reported by SGGP Newspaper, at around 5:00 p.m. on June 14, in Uyen Hung ward, there was heavy rain, water rose to the road surface, a pedestrian was swept away by the water into the drainage ditch and went missing.
