Lam Dong: Correcting the conduct of officials after the incident of speaking loudly to the people

On October 23, Mr. Le Thanh Son, Chairman of the People's Committee of Mui Ne Ward (Lam Dong Province) said that the People's Committee of the ward has issued a document to rectify the working style and manner of cadres, civil servants and public employees in performing their duties, after reflecting on a case of a cadre speaking loudly to people when receiving citizens.

According to the rectification document, the leaders of Mui Ne Ward People's Committee require all cadres, civil servants and public employees to maintain a peaceful attitude and respect the people in all situations; absolutely do not raise your voice, argue or quarrel with people at the workplace. Any problems must be handled according to the correct procedures and reported to the responsible leaders.

In addition, the Ward People's Committee also emphasized the need to strengthen supervision, remind, and strictly handle violations of the code of conduct. Each cadre and civil servant needs to practice public ethics, taking people's satisfaction as a measure of work efficiency.

An expert of Mui Ne Ward People's Committee had a loud voice and inappropriate gestures when receiving citizens, which was posted on social networks.

Previously, on October 22, a video appeared on social media recording a scene where an expert from the Economic , Infrastructure and Urban Affairs Department of Mui Ne Ward had inappropriate behavior, words and gestures while receiving citizens. Specifically, this person was said to have raised his voice and pointed at the people.

The ward People's Committee leader confirmed that the incident had occurred. According to the initial explanation, the citizen's words were inappropriate, leading to the specialist's lack of restraint and inappropriate reaction. The ward People's Committee requested the relevant specialist to make a report and review his responsibilities.
