Binh Thuan presents "Great Unity House" to elderly members in Ham Thuan Bac district

(Dan sinh) - The Elderly Representative Board of Ham Thuan Bac district has just coordinated with Hong Liem commune to organize the ceremony to present the "Great Unity House" to elderly member Le Van Giap - Liem An village, Hong Liem commune.

Mr. Le Van Giap, born in 1954, was deaf and mute from birth. His family's life was extremely difficult, their house was makeshift and dilapidated, but they had no conditions to upgrade or repair it. Upon the request of the Ham Thuan Bac District Elderly Association Representative Board regarding Mr. Giap's case, the Provincial Elderly Association Office allocated 50 million VND from the "For the Poor" Fund to support the construction of a "Great Unity House". Excited by the attention of the Party and the State, Mr. Giap's relatives contributed more funds to build a more solid and spacious house with a total area of about 100 square meters.
