On April 25, the Office of the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency is investigating a health food production line that used fake test results to bring products to market produced by Herbitech Technology Company Limited (in Phu Lo Commune, Soc Son District, Hanoi).
The leader of the ring is Pham Vu Khiem, director of Herbitech Technology Company Limited (address in block 8, Phu Lo commune, Soc Son district, Hanoi ).
Police identified two counterfeit products as health protection foods produced by Herbitech Company, namely BABY SHARK and Medi Kid Calcium K2 for children.
According to the police, the above company has processed and produced more than 200 products worth hundreds of billions of dong but lacks quality control.
Although the product is advertised as imported from France, Germany, and the US, the actual price and quality are not as advertised.
At the police station, Pham Vu Khiem initially confessed to changing the product's declared target. Khiem changed the content to not achieve the target to release it to the market.

Major Nguyen Van Thanh, an officer from the Office of the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency, said the suspects would mass-produce products according to customers' criteria.
In order for counterfeit products to be circulated on the market, this group will send samples to competent companies for testing and re-examination to see if the ingredients and quantity are as announced.
For test samples that do not meet the declared product, the subjects will connect and discuss with testing companies to edit the results, or even falsify the test results.
